Happy New Year 2013 to all my blogging friends and family.  When mom and me think back over the year, we realize having you guys in our lives, made the hills and valleys much easier.  Again, we are blessed.  Mom is having computer crap problems so we are waiting on our new wifi to get hooked up maybe towards the end of the week, until then we can read your blogs but not answer them.  We will be back real soon!!
Stay safe tonight!!

Little Smokies

Remember this summer when Mom wanted to surprise me and turd, and sammer with some turkey hotdogs for treats, and her robot brain got distracted and this is what happened along with enuf smoke in the house, to notify the fire mom has a favorite pan that her sister gave her in the hopes of making a good cooker out of her, and she used it to make little smokies with barbecue sauce last night, she opened the packages, added barbecue sauce, and put it on simmer, apparently a little to long, cos now there is 2 1/2 inches of burnt smokies and sauce in the pan, laying in the trashcan. Maggie and I made a pact not to tell Dad.

This story is about Maggie (sorta) so Mom put her picture on here instead of mine.  We have some new ones but don't have them downloaded yet.  So...... on Christmas Eve morning Maggie had a appt. at the Vet for her round of shots (hehhehe) and new puppy checkup.  She looked pretty stupid cute in her little pink bunny rabbit hat, (pictures to come) and it was cold out so she wore her matching scarf also.  Well we hates to go to the Vet and Sammer really hated it cos of their big ole cat that roams the rooms there.  They had a hate-hate relationship going on.  I wondered what Mag's would think of her first visit.

Mom said as soon as they walked in the door the cat's hair stood up on his back and he ran and jumped up on top of one of the shelves. The vet said he didn't know what was going on with him. (maybe it was the bunny ears that freaked him out) Then when Maggie went into her room to be Tortured checked out the Cat came in there and yowled and ended up way up high knocking of boxes.  The Vet assistant had to catch him and take him out of the room.  They both said he had never acted like that, and had grew up in the office and was use to dogs and cats coming and going.  Maggie got her shots, medicine for bacteria infection in her ears, and now weighs 5 lbs.  They thought she was a cutie.

Mom told Dad the story later that night, and they got to talking about the night they got Maggie, and how she just ran over to me, and ran around the house like she knew where everything was at.  Remember she ran right over to the toybox and stole each and every toy and put them in Sammer's bed.  She snuggled with mom and dad like she had always known them.  We want to believe that Sammer's spirit guides litte Maggie or maybe that his loving heart lives within....we don't know....we just believe.

THIS is not a picture of moms chili soup but anyway mom decided yesterday since it was cold outside she would COOK chili soup for supper.  Dad says Great and so did the boy grandmonster.  Well momma slaved over the hot stove opening cans of beans, tomatoes, juice and cooking the meat...working hard.  Dad said DO NOT USE BAKED BEANS and Mom told him she didn't.  One time she made chili and used Bush's baked beans, guess Dad didn't like that.

Anyway you all know Moms cooking experience is -21 but she tries!  So supper time rolls around and naughty words start coming out of Dads mouth cos mom used pork and beans along with kidney beans in the soup.  The big argument starts and Dad refuses to eat any chili soup.  Mom doesn't like to argue in front of the monsters or us, so she just silently sends him death glares and nicely told him that she would NEVER EVER cook for him again.  Nicely.  Dad told her to stop being dramatic just don't put those kinds of beans in chili said they have been together for 10 years and he is just NOW telling her that...she was mentally packing his clothes and throwing them out in to the big snowstorm!  So the rest of the night she only talked to us and the grandmonster and looked at dad with homicide in her eyes.

Poor mom she tried so hard.  She sent the chili home with the grandmonster today and did give Dad a small hug just in case he died on the icy roads going to work.

This is a picture I received yesterday from my boyfriend in England.  His name is Stan.  His grandpa used photoshop to make this wonderful picture!!  Doesn't it look just like he is in the coal bucket with me!! Stan is a wonderful friend.  Even though he is faraway from me, he is always watching out for my heart.  Stan  and his mom also sent me the pamplet of the pugmas event where they sent the balloons flying into the air for Turd and Sammer.  Stan says there is a possibility that there could be a new pug arriving in their home next year.  I didn't want to tell him but next year is right around the corner!!

Well Mom got to go home at noon yesterday and we were sooooo happy she was safe and sound.  Dad was home and one of the boy grandmonsters so we had a fun day watching movies, and just resting up for the weekend.  I didn't get to go out in the snow until dark cos of the 40-50 mph winds blowing.  We now have lots of BIG tree branches all over the ground broken from our old pine tree.
Snow was blowing so bad the snow removal trucks couldn't keep up.

This next picture happened on the highway.
No one was hurt.

Mom didn't take any pictures yet of me and the snow.  She has a hard time holding onto my leash cos I was jumping in the air like a little reindeer.  I loved it, but mom didn't let me stay out very long cos of the cold.  Margaret didn't get to go outside at all cos mom said they would lose her in a snowdrift.

Merry Christmas to all my friends.  This is mom's last day of work until Wednesday so we may not be back on here until then.  We are sending Christmas love from the bottom of our hearts!!  You are all packages under our tree!!!
Bless Each of You!

Mom and I woke up this morning to the sound of rain at 6 A.M. two minutes after that, we heard ice falling and thundar, 2 minutes after that we heard wind, lots of wind, and saw it is 10:06 A.M. Mom is at work, listening to 40 mph winds blowing and lots and lots of snow...her little white car is almost covered. We have surpassed the 4 inch mark...and it supposed to snow until midnight.  Her boss that lives 2 blocks away didn't come in, he called and said for mom to call him at lunchtime and he would decide then if she could leave a little early today.  Bless his heart.

GUESS what I got more cards and two boxes in the mail yesterday.  Mom has started to decorate another door with cards cos we filled up one door and door frame and still they are coming.  The postperson asked Dad yesterday just what is going on, and Dad just shook his head.  Its called doggy and kitty love, its that simple.  Anyway Ms. Ellen and all her puggies sent me and maggie a box full of goodies, just cos they love us, and i am an honorary sista.  Maggie is not.  Mom is going to try to take pictures but that won't happen anytime soon, cos of the crappy camera, but it had a blankie for me, bully sticks, greenies, toys, nylabones, food bones some was mine and some was maggies. She promptly grabbed a bone, and ran to my bed, and left me alone to look at all our gifts.  Thank you Ms. Ellen that was so much fun!  Dad just shakes his head again!! (He is secretly smiling though)

THEN we got another box from Science Hills sending us some new treats they want to put on the market.  They sent a little card that we were chosen to try them out.  Mom thought that was really great.  It said we needed to be honest and to let them know.  Well okayyyyyyyy......they were made out of cranberries, and oat flour....they were to big for my puggy mouth and to hard for me to even chew.  Dad got the hammer (yep) and broke them into four pieces but I still hard problems eating them.  Mom said there was no way she was eve gonna let Mag have any.  So we want to say thank you to Hills for trusting us with our opinion, we just think they would work better for a bigger doggy.

LAST we were looking at Nola's pictures and reading her blog today.  We really loved the picture of two footprints on the sand, one a person's and one a furkid.  That got me to thinking, so I and mom are gonna go outside when she gets home and tromp around the yard, and then check to see if Turd or Sammer is right beside us.  Dad says we are nuts cos Turd and Sammer are way to smart to go out in this kind of storm!
Have a cozy day!!

When Mom brought Margaret home she thought it would be nice to have a picture together. I am not smiling but Margaret has a little sneaky smile on her face.  I know she was planning on what method she would use to swipe my toys.

I tried to whisper to her that I would share SOME of my toys with her, but I needed to DECIDE that and not her cos after all they ARE my toys.

Then she tried to fool everyone in the house, with her big eyed innocent look, and little cute smile.  She didn't fool me at all!

Later when no one was looking she smiled REAL big cos she knew she had devious plans all along!! Mom is going to have this picture made for MY dad for christmas.....sigh.........

Still no good pictures of Margaret but we will soon.  She is becoming my arch Nemesis and there must be something done about it. I thought in the beginning it was just a trial run to see if she was the one we wanted, and if it didn't work out in 72 hours we would send her up the river.  She is still here.  Dad just loves her, and Mom does too, and I could possibly like her IF and only IF she would stop biting me, chasing me, hiding every freakin toy in the house in HER (mine) bed and hogging my bedspace at night.  She doesn't understand my rules and it is beside my comprehension as it why that is happening.

On another note though this morning my mom and I are so happy cos our friend Allred is back home. Mom told me the other day that she never realized becoming a blogger would bring her a whole new family; and with families also comes happiness, and some sorrow.  (You all know Mom is more comfortable handling her very small world, but now she is way out of her comfort zone.)  Miracles do show up in weird furry packages and sometimes they DO come back home!!
Merry Christmas

Crappy Camera...crappier pictures

HERE I AM  IN ALL MY GLORY!  (hopefully daughter #1 will have better pictures!)

Voices in my Head

Mom said to tell you we are also going to do a See Beautiful post this afternoon.

Hi, my name is maggie and mom is introducing you to me! Daughter #1 took lots of pictures last night BUT forgot her camera so we will have to wait till Monday now...dang it!!!  The grandmonsters came to see me last night and the first thing the littlest monster said was, "she looks just like Trudie!"  (well that explains that voice in my head).  I played alot with the kids and mom was so glad that I loved them and they loved me. Why would she doubt that?

Then the monsters commented on how big my sista Stella looked.  Well that peeved her off right away and she mostly pouted the rest of the night.  She is a great big sister but she has got to get aboard the "I Am Staying Here" train!

Later Dad brought home a Christmas box that had been sent for STella and Dietzman.  Oh Stella was so excited and sniffed all the packages...(you don't have to pictures yet so you will just need to imagine it)! Then the funniest thing happened. I heard that other voice that I sometimes listen to in my head and as soon as Dad put ALL of Stella's presents on the floor, I grabbed everyone of them, and hid them in MY toybox!!!

Have a great Friday
Maggie Moo a/k/a Margaret

Thursday, December 13, 2012

First I changed her named from Godzilla to Margaret that way when she hears me say Margaret she will know I am peeved at her.  Mom thought that sounded better anyway.  Yesterday Dad was home so he spent the whole day with us and let me tell you he got an eye full.  Here is a list of EVERYTHING she did wrong.
1. Missed the puppy pads one zillion times.
2. Sank her razor sharp teeth into my little tender ears one zillion times.
3. Stole and shook all of my toys.
4. Thought she was batman and dived off the chair....dummy.

Finally it was warm enuf Dad took us out to Alcatraz and she loved running all around.  I played keep away from her but she kept getting under my feet so I rolled her a couple of times to teach her the concept of KEEP AWAY!  She yelped and Dad told me I was being to rough.  WHAT...did he not read my list of transgressions....She is a 3.5 lb rat if you ask me.

Then later I went over to my toybox and brought out a binkie from the grandmonsters years ago.  Mom and Dad just looked at me, (cos now in their eyes I am a giant pug) and the next thing I know ratgirl stole my binkie and sat on Dads lap with it in her mouth.  Mom was working on her camera and lots of "wash your mouth out with soap" words came out of it, and she couldn't get the picture.  So imagine this...a small headed rat mostly hairless with a large pink binkie in their mouth that almost covers the bottom half of their face and she is looking at us with big eyes. Why would we want any record of that floating around!

Mom got all teary eyed later cos she was sitting on her lap and the next thing you know she started kissing mom and licking and biting her ears. Mom told Dad only Sammer ever did that to her.  Yep, I just knew he sent this little monster to shake up my world!  You ole stinker, Sammer!!

P.S. Mom had a hard time sharing yesterdays post with you, but she wanted to share about the power of friendship.

Mom was thinking about her friend from last night and the "gift" she brought to her.  She wanted to share another "gift" that her friend, Alethea in England gave to her yesterday.  My Mom is a BIG believer in signs. My boyfriend Stan lives in England with his mom.  We started to be pen pals last year, and we send little gifts and cards back and forth.  This weekend Stan went to a pug event and at the end of it they had balloons that they released into the air for the pugs that have went to the rainbow bridge.  Stan sent me the special pamphlet and on the back of it was Turds and Sammers name.

Mom got to thinking about the balloons last night and everything they stood for to her.  Was it a sign?  We don't know but it just felt right.

Sidebar (we don't know why that date shows on this picture cos I wasn't even born yet)

Last night when Mom got home Dad was EXCITEDLY waiting for our little guest to arrive.  Mom went and took a long hot shower, I waited on the floor with her. We were hiding in the bathroom.  Later Mom and I talked "alone" and she shared her   WHAT IF'S....what if this..and what if that know she had the what if's stuck in her brain...a million of them.  THEN WE HEARD A KNOCK and DAD"S YAY...and OH SHE IS BEAUTIFUL!!  Mom said, "Damn!"

Finally, we worked up enuf courage to go see what all the excitement was about and there stood one of the homeliest pugs mom and I had ever seen.  It looked like someone had dunked her face and big paws in black paint and the rest of her body was tan with black in weird places.  At first she was quiet but then she looked around and Dad held her and then she got down and ran around like crazy.  Mom and I thought she looked like the saggy baggy elephant from an old Golden Book Story, but Dad kept saying how beautiful she was.  Dad was love-struck cos she was not beautiful!!  Cathy said she had some eye scratches so she was returned to the breeder. Mom said she is a shrimp! Dad said she is beautiful. I am in shock. Her tail wagged like crazy and Mom said she was surprized she had enuf strength to even wag her tail cos she is so tiny! THEN she went over to my toys in Sammers bed, and shook the brains out of my favorite little white bear toy.  It was my gotcha toy when I first came to live with MY mom and dad.  We were stunned, Dad said,"Wow he couldn't believe a tiny little pug knew what to do with toys!" Mom said, " um....." Cathy said, " oh she is a genius.." I was shocked, no words would come out of my mouth.  First of all I couldn't believe she was a pug like me, she looked like a scrawny mouse hyped up on crack! Second she should be in jail for shaking my baby bear!   Dad had stars in his eyes, and told my mom and me she would be the perfect gift for Christmas for me and him.  Mom wanted to throw up!   Then mean ole cat dietzman came along and slapped the pee out of her not once but three times, and it didn't stop her a bit from being happy.  That got Mom's attention.  I was thinking what a dumb pug!

Then she started chasing me all around, and heck I had to watch I didn't kill her when I stepped on her cos she is a shrimparoo!  Is she even healthy?  Take her batteries out of her NOW mom!  She chased me all around the house so much my tongue was hanging out ...Dad said she was better than a treadmill for me. Mom said Ummmmm.

Later Dad handed her to Mom and Mom sat in the chair with her and me.  She started to wag her tail, and lick moms face and try to bite me again for the millionth time, and Mom just wanted to cry cos she could see a little of Sammer in that black little face, and she tried to listen to her heart so she would know what was right me and for her. Then she snuggled in moms arms and went to sleep.

Dad picked out the name Daisy but by the end of the night she became Maggie Moo or Godzilla.  I am still wondering about this present but as long is Mom's okay with it then so will I be.  This morning EARLY Maggie decided she needed to get up so Mom and I got up with her (even tho she belongs to DAD), and she drank finally and ate her breakfast.  She even pottyed on the puppy pads. Cathy said she couldn't go outside cos its to cold and she will get sick.  Mom drank her coffee after her and I went outside for some peace and she whispered to me, "sometimes presents come in different packages then we would have ever imagined Stella..."
Pictures to come.

Well Meaning Friends

This Afternoons Telephone Call Between My Moms Friend and My Mom

Moms Dietzy Friend: Are you busy at work?
Mom: Yes.
Dietzy Friend: I have a surprize for you!
Mom: Wine?
Dietzy Friend: I found  a fawn pug puppy.
Mom: So.
Dietzy Friend: You can give it to Butch and Stella for Christmas!
Mom: No.
Dietzy Friend: Its time...Sammy would want stella to be smiling again.
Mom: No.
Dietzy Friend: She is arriving at my house this evening.
Mom: So.
Dietzy Friend: I thought you guys could come see her tonight.
Mom: No.
Dietzy Friend: Its time, its healing and she needs a home.
Mom: No.
Dietzy Friend: There is no rule book on how long a person has to grieve before you move on. Its time.
Mom: Its time for me to get off the phone with you. (My MOm is so witty!)
Dietzy Friend: Well if Mohammand won't come to the mountain than the mountain .......
Mom: I am working real late.
Dietzy Friend: I will see you around 5:30.
Mom: No.

Mom has this real dietzy friend who loves us alot.  She tries to help us in really weird funny ways.  Mom has known her since 4th grade, and that was a LONNNNG time ago. Mom always acts tough around her, kinda like mean ole cat dietzman but she just keeps coming back.  Mom is worried she is gonna do something real STUPID like bring a puppy to our house. Dad is a sucker for puppies, Mom is gonna have to be really really tough with both of them. Mom says she needs to see me smile.....I said the same thing about Mom.

I am just loving getting all my Christmas cards from my buddies here in blogworld.  I have 47 and my parents have 2.  We all laugh about it and the grandmonsters just love it to.  My Daddy just shakes his head and marvels at the amount of cards rolling in each day for me.  My Mom says they are healing our hearts and we should be grateful for them and you.

My mom stayed home from work on Friday cos she thought she had the flu. She was super tired, but no pukes or headache or nothing just tired and icky looking.  She cleaned the house a little and laid around with me all day.  She did the same thing on Saturday which bummed her out cos she had shopping to do. Sunday came and she was even more tired and icky feeling. Now she is back to work, and Dad is off today with me so I have had lots and lots of hugs.  Mom got to thinking that maybe it wasn't the flu at all but that she was just heartsick.  I think she's right, cos right now her heart is mostly held together by fragile cobwebs and its not very strong. She and I both know it will get stronger and heal but not yet.  When we read all your understanding and sharing words it gets stronger. When one of you call us to just let us know that you care it gets stronger. We believe each and everyone of you are our heartlights and that makes us stronger.

The holidays are a fun time and a hard time for most people. I am glad I am here for my parents and that they are here for me. We are blessed to have each other and you.

Angry Birds

Nola has a giveaway today of four angry birds.  Sometimes I feel like an angry bird towards my dumb brother Sammer.  I wanted to let you guys know that I am feeling better and sometimes I forget to be mad, and the sadness creeps in.  I piled all of Sammer's toys in my bed, and I sometimes lay on them, and other times I shake the poop out of them.  Mom and Dad talk a little more about Sammer now and how much they were blessed to have him in their lives. I was blessed too but I am still mad.  Yesterday I almost walked to his grave but I stopped and turned back into the yard.  That must be step #9 and I am still at step #2.  I wonder if the rainbow bridge is decorated like our Christmas tree,  and maybe I should send Sammer and Turd a card. Turd's would say I love you much and forever.  Sammer's would say, I have all your toys now, so hahaha...I will give them back to you though if you could come see me.

I don't know what my dippy sister did on this goofy blog but now I am getting a message from this fluffy tail cat out in the wild west who MIGHT be interested in me.  Well, what the heck!  I been an old loner my fifteen years, and sure ain't ready to change my ways no matter how much beer she plys me with or cat food either. Now she told me that she has NO interest in changing her ways and just wants to be who she is but you know those females have ways of changing what they say. One minute they are all independant and the next there moving into your spare room...nosiree...thats not a happening to me.  Now if she wants to send me a little nip now and then well I am not gonna take that pleasure away from her, but i don't want her a thinking they'll be something under her tree from me.  Girl its just the way I roll!
Mean ole cat dietzman

Marvalous Monday

Guess what I am going to do today?!  Yep, I am going over to aunt kyleis house, to be pugsitted by grandmonsters kenna and macey while my dad goes deer hunting with the boymonsters! Ain't that grand.  Her and macey are probably planning a tea party just for me.
Don't let that face fool you cos I bet she has all kinds of scary adventures planned just for me!! Plus I gotta worry about their CAT who  is really Scary!  He watches every move I make!

Mom had company over Saturday night --they were girls she went to high school with back in the stoneages.  To give u an idea of how long ago it was they are talking about their 40 th class reunion...yep that long ago!! Anyway one of the girls brought what I mistakenly thought was a new stuffie toy for me!  I was so excited that I tried to jump up on her lap to see it and OMP it barked at me!!  It was an alive stuffie..holey moley I didn't know what to think...I later found out it was her little Chihuahua and apparently she was not socially friendly. ( my question is then why did she come to my house to play) Anyway she stayed on her momma lap ALL night and basically ignored every funny thing I did to get her attention.  One of moms friends had just lost her little Toby to the rainbow bridge after having him for 12 years.  Mom told her about the bridge cos they had never heard of it, and after some tears shed by everyone they were happy to find out sammers, zeus, turd and just everyone is up there waiting on us to oneday see them.  Mom is going to send her the poem today.
Mom says she is noticing with Sammers gone I am doing a few things a little better, like walking on my leash in the yard to go potty.  I loves it now when mom says lets go for a walk, and then I do my business. See how smart I am, I don't even have to go in Alcatraz to do it anymore.  I also put all our toys in sammers bed, and now rest on top of them. Mom and Dad are still trying to figure out just what to do for me for Christmas.
I will let you know how my adventure of the day went on tomorrows post!
