FINALLY FRIDAY !

Yep that's what we are gonna do all weekend... sleep!  Anywho it is Friday and we are all exhausted after our harrowing experience yesterday with the missing Blog.  Mom was so stressed out last night she ate 100 pieces of pizza and I got a couple of pieces of crust.  I did notice today Mom had not one bit of trouble when asked to prove she is not a robot.  I think she is onto me knowing and so she is trying to prove she is a "Normal" Mom.  (We know that ain't gonna happen)

Mom and I were a talking last night about how sad we were when we thought our Blog was gone for good.  Even though we have only blogged for a few months each and everyone of you have become blog friends of ours. (Its cos we don't have any other friends to speak of).  We were very sad that we wouldn't find out If Burt was gonna pop the question, or why Goose's Mom boots was laying around, or if Noodles was gonna still be a new slimmer pug, or where Frank is  and just what Molly was gonna write about next, and just where did Mason's mom get that buffalo bone and etc.  You have all become dear to our hearts and we often share your bloggy stories with moms family. (who look at us with sad knowing eyes...i am not even sure they believe yu are real)

Someone commented to Mom that my little blog from heaven is rather sarcastic and that sarcasm borders on depression.  Mom replyed by telling her then there is alot of depressed dogs here on blogspot..heheheheh....( i would have pugsnotted on her if mom would have let me)

Mom just thinks we all share a common love for the furry kids that live with us. It's a type of family, where we understand why we talk about our pets, and live the way we do.  Its a uncondtional acceptance is is very hard to find in the world today.
That being said, I also decided its just fine to have a robot for a mom, cos my robot has a kind heart who loves us all  very much...maybe that is why we never get to go out in the rain and play tho.....

Oh where oh where has my blog page gone..oh where oh where can it be?!

Our blog was taken away from us today.  Our Blog...All Gone...It didn't exist anymore.  Mom was stunned and stared at the screen, I leapt into action and starting figuring out whom to call ....Underdog was busy with Ms. Polly, so my next choice was the Blog people?

Today we learned an important lesson in "what happens when your blog disappears".  Mom started to hyperventilate, and ran through all the internet sites trying to figure out what happened, while I sat quietly by knowing the reason they (blog police) took our blog away.

Its because Mom is really a robot and they figured her out!  Yep, I know that it what happened because she has to do those robot tests like a million times before she can enter my comment.  Sometimes she shrieks and moans and sparks fly from her ears, before it eventually works.  I always utter a sigh of relief when we don't have to prove Mom is a robot and my comment posts right away.

Well we finally left our phone number and before I could blink my eyes the phone rang like magic and this other robot said these numbers to us.  MOm typed them in and BINGO we had our blog back.  I think it is some hidden code that only robot MOms know about.  I am not going to even bring up what happened to Mom cos somethings are better left unsaid.  Now I gotta figure out if Robot Mom's can really cook, or if that is why we eat alot of frozen water.

HELP!

This is Lionitis...He belongs to the four grandkids Micah, Marcus, McKenna and MACEY!  He is a ragdoll cat and the reason they bought him cos he was supposed to have the loving disposition of a pug (false advertizment for sure!!)  First of all he is just like mean ole cat dietzman only younger...so that should tell you the whole story.  He does like the kids, but MACEY for some reason, he often scratches her. Yes, he is very pretty but pretty is as pretty does and he is pretty rotten...SO.......

Last night everyone was at our house and I overheard MACEY ask Mom if she would trade all three of us puggies for LIONITIS!!  Now DAD really like LIONITIS so I started shaking in my boots.....I quickly told Sammer and Turdie what MaCEY had asked MOM.

Yes Macey is wearing a monkey costume......I knew if we went to her house she would drag out her chest of dress up clothes and try to dress Sammer up...he would not put up with that at all!!!

See her smile....i started to hide under the bed, with my sibs when I heard mom say, "oh Macey I couldn't do that cos this is their home!" Oh bless your heart mom..bless your heart.  But then my ears couldn't believe her next words!  Maybe the next time we come over Stellie can come over and play with you!  What I am the sacrifical lamb.....!!!!!

MOMS NEW BEST FRIEND!!

Mom and I and Turdie was sittin out on the porch this morning listening to the birds and squirrels and Mom was drinking coffee.  We thought this picture was a good way for us to start our day.
Mom tried to get Turdie to look at the camera but she was more interested in getting down off the chair..thus no face shot of her.  I wanted to thank Noodles for bringing to Mom's attention Noodles issue with her weight...after reading her post last week Mom realized I weigh the same as Noodles and If Noodles is overweight then so must I be.  Mom even went so far as measured ALL of our heights last night to see how tall we are.  I and turdie are both 12 inches tall and Sam is 16 inches tall.  I heard Mom tell Dad that she was going to start adding more veg to my food and less food...WHAT!!!!!  I describe myself as a cute little grizzly bear pug...apparently that means I am bordering on FAT!!

We are so excited about our new contest.  Please tell your friends.  Mom has been in contact with the SERPA pug rescue and they have already sent her three emails about their upcoming box!!  They said the rescue money only goes so far so treats will be something that they could really use!  They said the foster parents are really happy!

Okay so this is a picture of Mom's new best friend!!  We took the picture in the laundry room so it looks rather messy.  IT is called a SHARK and SAMMER HATES IT!!!  Everytime he hears the "psst" sound the steam makes he growls and barks and trys to rip the handle out of Moms hands.  Mom loves it cos she says it cleans the wood floors better than her old mop!  I believe Mom loves her SHARK more than Dad ....I am worried she is going to start sleeping with it!! Sometimes I feel we are a very dysfunctional family!

THE CONTEST IS ON!

Yay its Monday Morning and Mom said the Contest Begins!  She thought lots about it over the weekend and decided the simpler the better. All treats sent will be mailed to SERPA PUG RESCUE in Missouri.  (Unless specified TREATS FOR STELLA ROSE, well she didn't really say that)  The contest will end on the last day of September.  Mom will make sure all participants are named when she mails the box to them.  The wackiest weirdest most unusual treat will be named the winner and they in turn will receive a special box from us.  (REMEMBER WE ARE VERY TREAT LIMITED IN OUR HOME SO MOST TREATS THAT ARE SENT WILL FIT INTO THAT CATAGORY.....WE MAY NEED YOUR HELP WHEN CHOOSING THE WINNER)
Please send an email to simpson_long@yahoo.com to receive moms address....we have already heard from three blogging friends so far! Yay!!
Have a great day!

TIME-OUT FRIDAY

Mom is giving me a few days time out from the computer because of my blogging these last few days about her being a bad cook (I tried to tell her I just report the facts but that only got me in further dodo..plus the burnt hot dogs only proves my point) anyway...last night mom and i had a "mom to pug" heart to heart talk. As a result of the talk I am now on time out until Monday.
Here is our conversation:
Mom: Stella have you or your siblings ever went hungry in this house?
Good Me: No of course not dearest mommie.
BAD ME: Well hungry for real food and not that dry food  you give us.
Mom: Stellie, Dad and I love you guys alot, we take the best care of you we can. You go to the Vet when you need to, you get exercise and sunshine, we spend as much time with you as we can, you get treats, we would never trade you for anything, we are your forever home!!
Good Me: I know Mom, I love you and dad alot too!
BAD ME: Lets back this train up Mom, first of all I never ever ask to go to the Vet because there usually is always pain involved, second you put us in Alcatraz where we cannot run freely all over the neighborhood, we also have to share you with grandkids, and mean ole cat Dietzman, and as far as treats we have only ever tried one kind of bully treats..you have no imagination!
Mom: I know I don't cook alot of food for you, but you get fruits and vegetables and sometimes I cook you chicken.  You know Dad always brings you home something from the restaurant when he can.  You probably get more fresh fruit than any pug I know.
Good Me: I know Mom we are so lucky you buy us fresh fruits and veggies to eat.  I love you so much!
BAD ME: Once again you are living in a pretend world mom from the rest of us.  You often forget to buy us our frozen green beans and we have to eat ones from the can..can you say HIGH IN SALT....and I have to scream at you while you are cutting our apples just in case you forget to give me more!!  Yes, Dad does bring us little scrumptious treats from his work...I will go along with that..usually though I get in trouble for being food aggressive when I think he is going to share that donut with anyone but me!

Our conversation ended with Mom telling me that we could do a contest..Yippee..Yippee..BUT the treats or food mailed to us would be sent on to SERPA...a pug rescue in Missouri.  She is sure the foster homes and puggies would appreciate a little treat.  The winner of the contest will be the one with the strangest treat that we receive...it could be a homemade treat from weird ingredients, or a boughten treat that is strange. Mom will keep a list of the senders and put their names in the box.  We will send the winner a little box of prizes. (Do you see something wrong with this picture)  We are going to start the contest on Monday and end it on September 29th.  Mom said you can email her at simpson_long @yahoo.com to get our address.
Good Me: I can hardly wait to send these special treats to pugs waiting for their forever homes.
BAD ME: WHAT I don't get to keep any of the treats for myself....what!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Just what kind of lesson are you trying to teach me.

CONTEST DILEMMA

See this picture of Macey? See her face?  She is upset because Mom is still on the fence about my contest..and cos she had to poke her shirt into her jeans for her picture...but that is another story.

I still haven't made my 20 comments yet and mom is sticking to her guns on that one.  I have 16 as I write this and some of them were mine.  Mom was telling Dad last night what I had written about getting my blogging buddies to send me food cos she is food challenged and he thought it was pretty funny. (I guess he wasn't laughing later when he slept on the blow up mattress ..mom has no sense of humor about her cooking skills...)

Mom told us the only way she was going to do this contest is if I would turn over our treats we receive to a pug rescue.  She said she would get a box and make a list of whoever sends me things, and put all their names along with the treats in the box.  There is a pug rescue in the Midwest, and one in Southern Missouri.  She said we could not keep the treats, cos it wouldn't be right!  I pleaded with her, if we could keep any different treats that we had never tasted, and she wanted to know what that would be?  After, all she says she keeps us in treats....well I didn't want to burst her bubble but when it comes to new and different treats...we mostly get our bully treats and thats all.  I have been checking out the doggie stores I see on some of your blogs and I couldn't believe my little bulgy eyes..deer antlers, pretzel bully sticks, sweet potato treats and the list goes on and on.

At least Mom is thinking about it now....but we still need more comments!  Please show my mom we are needy pugs at this house...we need treats...(what we really need is home cooked food but I can't let her know that cos she is crabby this morning)

FOOD CONTEST--KABASHED!!

While my mom is at the gas station getting  a donut before work I thought I would sneak on here to let you  know I have came up with a plan to help me, turdie, and sammer out in the “ my mom doesn’t cook very well or at all” department.  A CONTEST!  Yes, that’s right a food contest!  Here is my plan.  I will offer a prize to the furry kid out there that sends me the tastiest food!  That’s right...I will strive to spend my days chomping down on the delicious delicacies sent to me to decide who will be the winner.  There will be many categories to enter...such as pies, cakes, sandwiches, cookies, crock pot meals and such.   Since dry ice is available at the stores there should be no problem with shipping anything UPS to our house.   Turdie said I would need to tell Mom what is going on, cos her and Dad are gonna start to wonder why they are getting food in the mail.
BUSTED….Mom just read my blog and put the kabash on it! (course she is eating her donut in front of us) Her words, were, “no way, no how, NO!!”  I suggested since school has started maybe she could go back and retake Home Economics again since she apparently paid for the class and it didn’t work.  I must have crossed the line, cos now I am blogging from my crate!!

Broke Computer!

On Saturday Turd ie (Moms new word for her cos she poops off the pee pads now)and I had to go to the vet to get OUR nails cut.  After Sam's horrible experience Mom and we were worried.  We brought  the Army to go with us just to keep that new vet in line a little better.  Mom put us in our pretty dresses and gave us a spit bath and we were on our way.  We also brought in two grandboys to help Mom carry us in case she passes out from the blood.

Jackson carried Me.  The vet weighed me and announced that I was getting a tab bit pudgy at 16 lbs.  I tried to tell him it was the dress but he did not have much of a sense of humor.  I also thought it was important that I shared our mom doesn't cook much, mostly frozen water, but he didn't seem to give a lick about it.  I did very well!!

Next Ty carried Turd ie in.. She was shedding up a storm...She weighs a whopping 14 lbs.  Mom was worried and wanted the Vet to do every test under the sky but he said that was a good weight for a pug.  That most peoples pugs are FAT (his words not ours) and thats why he likes to see small little pugs...Mom told us on the way home he was full of **$# and that she is worried about TURD.

Later on the cowboys and their sister came to visit us.  The cowboys ended up staying all night and bunking on the bedroom floor in mom and dads room...it was a blast!

The girls stayed home and rode their camel.

Moms computer is acting up so we haven't got to be on here much.  Mom says she is going through withdrawal cos she can't blog.  I am also missing seeing all the pictures of food that everyone else's moms are cooking for them.  I live vicariously through you. Stella Rose

HOLEY SMOKES !!!!!

This post may be rather long, cos it will be my last post of the week till Monday and I have lots of news to share with you.

Trudie's Post: I am very excited about getting to blog to you guys for the first time.  Stella is working on her generosity skills and decided I could blog a little about my adventure last night. Stella was sad cos Sam was so upset about his nail clipping mishap at the vet and felt she had caused it.  (She was also upset about the hot dogs but that is a story for later.)I reminded her she did not have that type of power...geeze!  When mom got home last night she said just her and me were gonna go on a walk and she had a surprize for me. Stella threw a big screaming fit when she realized she was not invited to the party and laid behind the chair pouting most of the night. At one time Mom even thought she was sick.
Mom is letting me rest at a little bench on the way to the park.  I am very camera shy and didn't want to look into the lens.
What is all that noise across the street? Mom calls it a drinking establishment.
We then dropped off Rexi's present for his birthday.  He is a hairy pug that lives in England.  We mailed a teeny little box full of treats and it cost us our college money. Next we stopped at the Ice Cream Shoppe and Mom bought me a little cone.  It was the first time ever I have had ice cream.  Mom is working on her cooking skills and she decided a cone was  a good place to start.  We went over to the park and watched a couple of guys fishing in the river.  Mom felt sad for me cos I was so nervous that I would only take a couple of bites of my cone.  I tried to tell Mom I was just enjoying breathing in the fresh air and spending time with her.
You can see where all the grass in the park has burnt up from the dought.
Even Mom's one and only flower pot display is bug eaten this year.  We had a lovely time and were gone for an whole hour...I just loved it.  My breathing was pretty rough by the time we got home and of course Ms. Nosey had to know what we did, who we saw, and what we ate.  Stella said all the toursists in town probably think people from Iowa walk their pigs when they heard me coming around the corner. Love Trudie

Stella's Blog:
Do i have a story for you.  I will try to keep it short so you won't be falling asleep on me.  Mom has been thinking hard about what she could actually COOK for us, besides frozen water and after THEIR walk last night came up with the wonderful idea of each of us getting our own all beef hot dog!! Whoot Whoot...we were very excited.  No more frozen water for us for dessert..we are moving on up to the big time.  Well we patiently waited around the stove for them to start cooking and then Moms friends showed up.  Her and Us went outside to talk to them, and mom was yacking and yacking and yacking and we got worried about our hot dogs.  All three of us starting barking and raising a commotion so she put us in ALCATRAZ!  Mom was not paying attention to our treats or us!!  Well after about 45 minutes her friends left and we all went into the house.  Guess what was waiting for us...LOTS OF SMOKE and BLACK HOTDOGS!!!!!!  Mom puts us back outside and turns the fans on, opens the doors, and windows and throws the pan with our HOTDOGS in the yard!!!!!!!  Mom was worried the neighbors would call the fire department or animal control cos we were carrying on so bad.  They say pictures say a thousand words....

When Dad got home later he told mom to stick to frozen water and fruit for us.  Poor Mom and Poor Us!  Have a good weekend....Stellie Rose

Triumphant Thursday!

Remember Trude and I were gonna plan a really really stupid thing to do and then show you and get more attention from mom and dad…well we thought about climbing the water tower, or bungee jumping off the river bridge, or going on a hunger strike, but Trudie talked me out of all those things….she said Karma was a dangerous thing and Sam would get paid back.
Well today, Dad had to take Sam to the VET to get his NAILS cut.  Sam hates, hates, hates going to the VET….I guess ole Trudie was right about Karma!
Hehehehhehhe..this is a picture of my sleek little butt.....have a good day!

NEW AWARD

Wow we won the Verstile Blogger Award from http://pugsandpurrs.blogspot.com/.  They are five little Pugs and five litte Cats that all live together in the Sunflower State. (Is that close to iOwa?) Thank you so very much, That was very nice of you to honor us with this Award.  I just hope Mom is smart enough to follow the instructions.  Now to win this Award we have to do some work.  This is a list of the jobs we must do:
1. Nominate 5 fellow bloggers who are relatively new to blogging. (This is the area we may have the Award taken from us, cos we couldn't find very many of our followers that are new...so we have improvised with "new to us" I hope that works, if not,  we are up a creek with no paddle!!
2.  Let the nominated bloggers know they have been nominated for the Award.
3. Share 7 random facts about yourself.
4. Thank the blogger who has nominated you.
5. Add the Versatile picture to your post. (This is going to be a REAL BIG CHALLANGE FOR MY MOM)

FIVE FELLOW BLOGGERS
1. Seasons Of My Mind..is written by Parsley.  She is a mom who has one daughter and seven dogs..yay dogs rule!  She is a really good cook, which easily impresses me.  She currently has a Mystery Giveaway going on so stop by her blog.
2. STELLA AND RORY from Down Under is another blog we enjoy.  This is not a new blog but again new to us.  Stella is a cocker spaniel and Rory a large Great Dane!  They share lots of adventures down under.
3. Big Stinky Dog is a new blog (Whew!) and is a story about Mason and his adventures.  His mom volunteers at a Great Dane Rescue and does equine therapy.  Fun blog!
4. A Wonderful Dogs Life is not a new blog but have a small following.  They always have great pictures on their blog.  Their blog includes 4 BIG dogs and they share about their life.
5. Pugs & Pics (New?) also has a small following and this blog is written about her little pug Alfie and her brand new pug Waffles.  She is learning the Trial and Trimuphs of living with two puggies.

Hopefully, our five blog sites are okay, although they are not all new.  If our award must be taken back we will understand...sigh......(remember I live with a mom who considers cooking-- freezing water for our water bowl)

SEVEN RANDOM FACTS
1. The three pugs in our house are all related.  Sam and I are brother and sister.  Trudie is our aunt.
2. We were all rescued from the "Crualella Deville Puppy Mill."
3. " Mean ole Cat Dietzman" is fifteen years old, he is part Main Coon Cat and Persion.  Need I say more.
4. We are lucky enough to have 7 human grandkids who love to play with us, a new baby girl is going to be born in January.  (Hopefully we will get to wear her clothes)
5. My favorite place to sleep is cuddled in Moms arms like a baby, Trudies is laying by Moms legs, and Sam under the covers at all times, by their feet.
6. I love all kinds of fruits and vegetables. Sam likes Apples and green beans only, and Trudies doesn't like any fruits or vegetables.  Mom is afraid she is going to get rickets.
7. My dream is to one day become a famous pug writer, Sam's dream is to be an only child, and Trudie says her dream has come true on the day Dad brought her home...

Thank you to everyone who has followed our blog and responded in comments...we love reading all of them, and laughing along with you!

ALMOST PUGNAPPED

THIS IS MY VERSION OF SAM RUNNING.....DAD TOLD MOM THIS STORY WHEN SHE GOT HOME FROM WORK LAST NIGHT...
SAM WAS OUT PLAYING IN THE YARD AND HE CHASED A RABBIT UP BY THE HIGHWAY.  SAM KNOWS HE IS NEVER TO GO CLOSE TO THE ROAD BUT HE OFTEN IGNORES MOM AND DAD WITH THAT RULE. ANYWAY DAD WAS CALLING HIS NAME SO HE WOULD COME ONTO THE PORCH AND A WOMAN STOPPED IN A CAR AND OPENED THE DOOR.  DAD SAID SHE MUST HAVE THOUGHT HE DIDN'T BELONG TO ANYONE SO SHE WAS GOING TO TAKE HIM HOME.  TAKE HIM HOME HECK SHE WOULD HAVE DROPPED HIM BACK OFF BEFORE THE MOON CAME OUT!!!  WHEN SHE SAW DAD RUNNING TOWARD THE CAR SHE DROVE AWAY.

MOM WAS VERY UPSET ABOUT THE WHOLE INCIDENT WHEN SHE HEARD ABOUT IT AND GAVE SAM LOTS OF KISSES AND HUGS AND TOLD HIM TO NEVER EVER GO UP THERE AGAIN.  SAM HAS HIS ID ON HIM SO SHE HAD TO KNOW HE WASN'T A STRAY, MOM SAID SHE MUST HAVE THOUGHT HE WAS HANDSOME...YUCKY!!!

TRUDIE AND I WERE WAITING ON SAMMER TO END UP ON TIME OUT AND NOT GET TO SLEEP WITH OUR PARENTS BUT THAT NEVER HAPPENED.  INSTEAD I BELIEVE HE GOT EXTRA ATTENTION FOR THE INCIDENT.  TRUDIE AND I ARE PLANNING ON DOING SOMETHING REALLY STUPID TODAY TO SEE IF WE WILL GET SOME EXTRA ATTENTION ALSO....I AM NOT SURE WHAT WE ARE GONNA DO BUT IT WILL BE SUPER STUPID.....

ANYWAY TY DECIDED TO STAY THE NIGHT WITH US AND ON SUNDAY MORNING IT WASN’T A GAZILLION DEGREES OUTSIDE SO WE WENT FOR A LITTLE WALK THROUGH OUR VILLAGE.  THERE ARE SEVEN VILLAGES IN VAN BUREN COUNTY AND WE LIVE IN THE BIGGEST.  WE ARE THE ONLY COUNTY IN IOWA THAT DOES NOT HAVE A STOP LIGHT AND MOST OF OUR INCOME IS FROM TOURIST ACTIVITIES WE HAVE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.  MOM LIKES LIVING HERE COS IT REMINDS HER OF GERMANY…THIS YEAR COS OF THE HEAT IT REMINDED HER OF ARIZONA.

MOM PUT ME IN MY STROLLER AND WE TOOK OF FOR THE RIVER.  THIS SIGN TELLS THE BOATERS HOW FAR IT IS BETWEEN ONE VILLAGE TO ANOTHER...MOMS CAMERA IS A CHEAPIE SO ITS HARD TO GET CLOSE UPS...TY IS BEING A GOOD SPORT ABOUT PUSHING THE STROLLER WITH ME IN IT!
WE DON'T KNOW WHY THE HOTEL MANNING LOOKS LIKE A FUN HOUSE PICTURE..UM...MAYBE IT REALLY LOOKS LIKE THIS AND WE AREN'T AWARE OF THAT...UM...IT IS RIGHT BESIDE THE RIVER.
THIS IS ME IN THE SWING...I AM NOT ENJOYING IT AT ALL!

TY AND I TAKING A BREAK ON THE PARK BENCH..HE MAY BE SMILING BUT WHAT HE IS SAYING IS, "GRANDMA AREN'T YOU DONE IT!"
THIS IS THE NEW FLOWER MARKET IN TOWN WHERE MOM GETS HER FLOWERS ON SATURDAY...NOTICE THE TEA IN THE STROLLER...WE HAD TO STOP AT THE GAS STATION AND GET SNACKS..I AM REFUSING TO LOOK AT THE CAMERA COS MOM AND TY DID NOT GET ME MY OWN SWEET TEA!!

THIS IS THE FRONT OF OUR HOUSE...IT IS 150 YEARS OLD, WHICH REALLY MEANS ALL THE FLOORS AREN'T LEVEL ANYMORE.  WE HAVE THE OLDEST WINDING STAIRCASE IN TOWN...PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS TRYING TO BUY IT! (THE STAIRCASE) WEIRDO'S ....

THIS IS THE WARDAN PATROLING THE YARD.  HE HAS REALIZED ONE OF US (ME) HAS EXCAPED FROM ALCATRAZ AND HE SAID IT COULDN'T BE DONE!  HA!
LATER MOM TOOK TRUDIE FOR HER OWN LITTLE WALK AROUND THE BLOCK..THAT IS AS FAR AS SHE CAN GO COS OF HER BREATHING PROBLEMS..YOU WILL NOTICE NO WHERE IN THESE PICTURES IS MY TUB OF LARD BROTHER TO BE FOUND!  HE WAS LAZYING IT UP IN THE HOUSE WITH DAD!

TRUE COLORS SHINING THROUGH

HEY I'M BACK...ITS STELLA...I POSTED THIS LITTLE PICTURE OF THE ''TRUE SAM" AND NOT THE ONE HE TOLD YOU ABOUT YESTERDAY...SEE THAT SCRUNCHY FACE..THATS WHAT TRUDE AND I HAVE TO PUT UP WITH DAY IN AND OUT.

I DID CALL HIM A TUB OF LARD COS HE OUTWEIGHS TRUDE AND ME BY 10 LBS.  MOM STILL FEEDS HIM MORE THAN US, SO THAT MAKES NO SENSE TO ME..SEEMS LIKE MOST OF THE FOOD WOULD GO TO THE SMALL PUG GIRLS AND NOT TO MR. TUB OF LARD ?????

MOM LECTURES ME WHEN I SAY MEAN THINGS ABOUT SAM, BUT SHE DOESN'T KNOW ALL THE THINGS WE PUT UP WITH WHILE THEY ARE AT WORK, SAM HAS ALOT OF ISSUES HE NEEDS TO BE WORKING ON.  FIRST, HE IS A THIEF --ALWAYS STEALING TREATS FROM US, AND OUR LITTLE STUFFIES, AND MOM'S LAP, SECOND HE DOESN'T LISTEN TO HIS PARENTS, SOMETIMES HE RUNS AROUND CRAZY AND PRETENDS HE CAN'T HEAR AND THIRD, WELL HE ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS GETS TO SLEEP WITH MOM AND DAD WHILE THE TINY, LITTLE, SWEET, PUG GIRLS HAVE TO SLEEP IN THEIR OWN BEDS.  HE HAS ISSUES!  ITS TIME TO DO A SAM INTERVENTION AT OUR HOUSE, I KEEP WANTING TO SEND HIM ACROSS THE POND TO SOME FRIENDS IN ENGLAND BUT MOM WON'T LET ME....WELL ONE DAY THERE IS GONNA BE A BIG BOX WITH HOLES IN IT SITTING ON THE FLOOR WHILE MOM IS GONE.....AND TRUDE AND I ARE GONNA PUT HIM IN IT!!

SAM I AM

Hey its Sam or Sam I Am as Mom calls me sometimes.  Stella made a deal with me if I share my apple with her last night I could write the Blog today, so that’s what I did.   So let me introduce myself again. My name is Sam, Stella calls me Sammer, Dad calls me Sammy, Trudie calls me Mr. Sam, cos that is the type of relationship we have, and Dietzman the Cat doesn’t call me anything. We think its cos he is planning my demise and chooses not to name me, kinda like people do with farm animals…
I will be two years old next month.  Mom and Dad brought me home on Thanksgiving Day two years ago.  I also came from the “Cruelella Deville Puppy Mill” like my sisters did.  Only three puppies from my litter lived, because of a severe skin disease.  I still don’t have hair on my elbows, knees, behind my ears, or stomach.  Sometimes Stella laughs at me!  Cruelella shipped the three of us in a semi across three states to a puppy broker; we had to stay in a very small crate.  By the time we got there the vet said we weren’t any good (WHAT!!!) cos our eyes were scratched.  We had to ride that long ride back to the Mill.  Mom heard our story and came and got me, my sibs went to live with a couple of her vet friends.  Yay for Mom and Dad.
Dad says I am really smart…and he wishes the girls would understand the concept of housetraining as well as I do.  I am the biggest of the pugs, cos I have long legs and lots of muscle.  Mom says I am beautiful; Stellie calls me a tub of lard!  I know I have a really grouchy looking face but I love everyone!  As soon as company comes, or the grandkids I want to lick their faces and give them “wet willies”.  I was supposed to be Dads puggie but I am very attached to my Mom. I love to sit on her lap all the time.  Sometimes I knock Trudie off just so I can have Mom all to myself.  For some reason I have a little issue with Trudie.  I like her but wishes she would keep her distance from mom, and she REALLY loves Mom so it becomes a problem sometimes.  Stella says I need intervention…Mom shushes her up but she still whispers it in my ear when Mom is not around. She is a rotten big sister!

TRUDIE-TRIALS, TRIBULATIONS & TRIUMPH

TRUDIE-TRIALS, TRIBULATIONS & TRIUMPH
THIS IS A PICTURE OF TRUDIE SITTING WITH DAD LAST NIGHT…YOU CAN SEE SHE IS ALMOST STANDING ON HIS HEAD.  MOM SAID IT WAS A TRIUMPH FOR THEM BECAUSE SHE NEVER GETS THIS CLOSE TO DAD, EVEN THOUGH HE SAVED HER.
MOM SAYS WE COULD ALL LEARN A LOT FROM TRUDIE COS OF WHAT SHE HAS WENT THROUGH.  SHE IS OUR THREE “T” GIRL.  HER TRIAL WAS HER PAINFUL EXPERIENCES, SOMETHING SHE  ENDURED, HER TRIBULATION, WAS THE DIFFICULTY AND DISTRESS SHE MUST HAVE WENT THROUGH, AND OF COURSE HER TRIUMPH WAS THE ACT OF WINNING, BEING VICTORIOUS AND OVERCOMING HER PAST.
MOM DOESN’T WANT US TO GET BIG HEADS OR ANYTHING BUT SHE SAYS SHE ALWAYS LEARNS A LOT FROM US, AND IT HELPS HER TO GET THROUGH DIFFERENT CHALLENGES SHE HAS IN HER LIFE.  WE ARE HER ANGELS.

I THINK “MEAN OLE CAT DIETZMAN” IS MY TRIAL AND TRIBULATION…MOM JUST TELLS ME TO KNOCK IT OFF…..

RODEOS, BLESSINGS AND CAMPING

This is Marcus.  He is my buddy.  He is always kind to me when he comes over to play.  He is quiet and soft spoken and very well mannered.  He rides bulls with his older brother Micah.  In this picture they are saying a prayer before they ride. I know God listens to their prayers.  Friday night at the rodeo Marcus's bull decided he was gonna be a big ole bully and stepped on Marcus's tummy.  He ended up having to ride in the ambulance to the University Hospital to be checked out and stayed the night.  Mom was very worried about him, and talked alot to God about what happened.  God kept him safe though.  Mom asked Marcus if he was done riding bulls (she sure hoped so) but he said, "no grandma!" Mom is unhappy about that!  Mom said sometimes life gets so full of crap that you forget to stop, and just breathe, Friday night made her stop and breathe.  She is so blessed to have Marcus and all her grandkids.

The weather has turned off nice last night so Mom decided me and Trude could camp out on the porch instead of in our little bathroom.  You will notice it was just me and Trude cos big baby Sam got to sleep in his usual place at the end of the warm bed.  "mean ole cat Dietzman also slept with us out on the screened in porch, and it was a rather nice cool evening.  The moon was shining big and bright so we had a night light all night long.  I pretended "mean ole cat Dietzman" was actually a guard Griffen and he would scare away any pugnappers.  Mom said she locked the door so we were safe.  Mom should have slept out there with us!

A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

Happy Fry-day everybody!  Its still so hot here that we are trapped inside most of the day...we only get to run around late at night and we still get too hot doing that.  Mom fixed me a really good supper last night and I wanted to share it with you. First she put a little watermelon on the side, then my favorite frozen green beans, and as a topping 1/4 of an apple.  In the middle she added my kibble which I promptly threw all over the floor cos I just wanted the fruits and vegetables.  Sam usually cleans up after me, but he was even so disgusted at the mess I made that Dad had to clean it up.  Trudie of course only eats her regular food (from moms hand) cos that is all she likes besides chicken.  Mom says it is so funny to listen to me when she is fixing my supper.  First I stand right beside her to make sure she is adding the right portions, and then I start screaming cos she is to slow!  My Mom doesn't know how to cook all those great recipes that I have been reading on here, but she does know how to make my favorite supper.  Oh yeah and she freezes water really good for our water bowl!
Have a great day!
